Global Jurist offers a forum for scholarly cyber-debate on issues of comparative law, law and economics, international law, law and development, and legal anthropology. Mindful of globalization and respectful of cultural differences, linguistic and cultural barriers are overcome and legal issues are finally discussed outside of the narrow limits imposed by positivism, parochialism, ethnocentrism, imperialism and chauvinism in the law. Articles are published in three quality-rated tiers – Frontiers, Advances, and Topics – that are distinguished by breadth of appeal and overall quality. The journal is edited by an impressive list, including Ugo Mattei, Alfred and Hanna Fromm Chair in International and Comparative Law at Hastings College of the Law.
Authors include notable professors from The London School of Economics, Oxford University, and The University of California, Berkeley.
